“Live cattle and feeder prices were unable to climb back to the upside yesterday after Friday’s sharply lower close, and that gives the bear camp the edge,” the Hightower Report said. “President Trump extended the China tariff deadline for 90 days, which eases demand worries with our third-largest U.S. beef buyer.”

“December hogs ended with slight gains yesterday,” the Hightower Report said. “Cash hogs were higher and hog slaughter last week was below expectations and has remained below average for several months.”
